Weapon Licence

Weapons are customisable in Fiesta Online – you can enhance their effectiveness against certain types of enemy. To do so, you need one or more ‘Weapon Licences’ for your weapon – up to 3 per weapon. You licence your weapon for use against particular opponents, improving its effectiveness against them. Your licenced weapon opens a world of opportunity to you – as you slay creatures that you hold a licence for, you can buy yourself titles of increasing importance!

To furnish your chosen weapon with a particular licence you must find a Title Merchant, from whom you can also purchase titles. When you have the weapon and license, you can stamp the weapon with the license. To do so, open the dialog window with the Title Merchant NPC (Non-Player Character) and choose ‘Register License’. This will open this window, where you can place the weapon and licence in the appropriate slots. Click on the button on the right-hand side to complete the process.

Weapon licences are incredibly useful when fighting against the right enemy, so it’s advisable to keep a range of weapons with a range of licences – and be prepared to replace weapons with lower level licences, as it is difficult to exchange licences…
The only way to remove a license from a weapon is with the "License Clear" item, available only from the item shop.
