The Guild Menu

The guild menu can be found by talking to a Guild Manager NPC – one is in every village. There, you can create, join and administer your membership or leadership of a guild. Here’s a brief tour:

Create This option lets you create your very own guild. You need to choose a guild name, a guild password and must decide whether the guild will be able to participate in Guild Wars (see Guild Creation Window below). This costs 300 silver. List Displays all guilds in the game along with their info (name, number of members, online status, etc.) Disband With this option you can leave your guild. If you created the guild, it will be disbanded in 7 days then permanently deleted.

Guild Creation Window The guild name may consist of a maximum of 16 characters. Spaces are, unfortunately, not allowed (underscores are though). The guild password can be whatever you wish, up to a maximum of 8 characters.

Guild Overview

Once it has been created, you can see the guild’s overview on the community page.
From this page, as well as the number of members and their online status, you can invite more players to your guild declare war on other guilds (only if you have this option enabled when the guild was created), access the guild menu and write a notice for the guild members.
As the leader of a guild, you also can assign ranks to your members – simply right click on the desired player.

New Members Enter the name of the character you want to invite into the guild.

Guild Notices With the guild notice button, you can write messages for all members of your guild – note, however that if you create a new notice, the previous notice is overwritten. Only higher ranked Guild members can write guild notices.

Guild Menu In this menu, you can set whether a message should appear when a guild member comes online or goes offline. Furthermore, you can leave the guild you are currently a member of from this window.

Guild Wars

If you feel aggrieved or simply aggressive, you can declare war on other guilds - select ‘Declare War’. After 5 minutes of preparation time, the war will begin and last for an hour. During this hour, you can attack all the guilds listed in the lower status window.

The winner of the war is the guild that has defeated the largest number of players from opposing guilds. During this hour, all participating guild members of both guilds can attack at any point on the map.
